DAXXIFY™: A New Longer-Lasting Injectable Wrinkle Treatment in Coral Gables, FL

DAXXIFY is a recently FDA-approved treatment from Revance Aesthetics designed to minimize moderate to severe glabellar lines (the “elevens”). Sometimes called DAXI for short, this peptide-powered botulinum toxin temporarily blocks neurotransmitters that cause muscle movement. This smooths dynamic wrinkles and prevents new lines from forming.

In addition to treating lines between the forehead, DAXXIFY can be used off-label to treat TMJ disorder by softening the masseter muscles, forehead creases, crow’s feet, and fine lines on the nose (“bunny lines”).

For more than 20 years, BOTOX Cosmetic has cornered the anti-wrinkle injectables market. One of the reasons DAXXIFY’s release is so exciting is that it lasts significantly longer than other neuromodulators like BOTOX Cosmetic or Dysport. While all three injectables use botulinum toxin to fight signs of aging, DAXXIFY is stabilized by a proprietary peptide.
